Alex & Clare's Mini Festival Wedding

Clare and Alex’s wedding at Limepark felt less like a wedding and more like a mini festival with all their favourite people.

Sunshine, wildflowers, live music from friends, lawn games, glitter, and a packed dance floor, relaxed, colourful, and completely true to them.

They met during lockdown, spending evenings in a shared garden in Glasgow playing music and lighting campfires. So it felt only right that music ran through their entire day. Clare walked up the aisle to her sister and best friend singing live. Their ceremony included handfasting with bright ribbons, a ring warming, and sharing whiskey from a quaich, personal, meaningful touches that reflected who they are.

Clare wore a celestial gown scattered with moons and stars that shimmered in the spring sun, later changing into embroidered Converse for the dancing. Alex wore a kilt in honour of his grandfather, a quiet and thoughtful tribute.

The evening began with a 10-piece band made up of their friends, brass section included, and from there the dance floor never really emptied.

A wedding full of music, personality, and heart, an absolute joy to photograph.
